Beaver Creek’s legendary Talons Challenge is back February 22-23, 2025, daring skiers and riders to conquer 26,000 vertical feet across 14 expert runs. This grueling test earns serious bragging rights, while the village buzzes with après-ski fun. Whether you're tackling the slopes or soaking up the scene, here’s what you need to know for an unforgettable weekend.Early Check-In for the challenge is at Creekside Patio (across from Helly Hansen) Friday, February 21st from 3pm – 4:30pm. Regular check-in is 7:30am-11am at Creekside Patio on Saturday and Sunday! Friday is the only pre-pick-up time, there are NO pick-up locations at Bachelor Gulch or Arrowhead. The event begins when the lifts open. Grouse, Birds of Prey, and Larkspur lifts cease operation at 3:30pm - arrive early to maximize your laps!
Head to Talons Patio for your included participant lunch from 11am – 2:30pm. The energy will be high with DJ DC on deck and fun-filled activation tents from our sponsors Helly Hansen, Gatorade, Nature Valley, Michelob Ultra, and Lalo Tequila offering additional swag for your collection! Lunch options will include bratwurst along with a vegetarian and gluten free option and beverages from Michelob Ultra or Bubly - you will need your credential in order to get your lunch!
Registrants can collect their Talons Challenge swag at the Ice Rink. Swag distribution is from 12:30 pm to 4pm on the day of your single-day registration or from 12:30pm to 4pm on Sunday for "Master of the Mountain" registrants.
The After Party rocks from 1:30pm to 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday with live music, event bar, and raffle prizes! Head to the village both days for DJ Pippen starting at 1:30pm and live music from Little Trips at 3pm.
